ALBANY — The state's top insurance regulator said Friday that it's illegal for insurance companies to deny life, disability income or long-term care insurance to applicants based solely on whether they carry a prescription for naloxone, a drug that reverses opioid overdoses. The updated guidance from the state Department of Financial Services comes four months after Gov.
